Why Do I Need To Get My Dog Groomed?
Grooming is an essential part of every dog’s welfare and wellbeing. Depending on your breed of pooch they could require a groom every 4, 6, or 8 weeks. Maybe even once or twice a year. Please do call us if you have any questions about your dogs coat and how often they require a groom. We are here to help.
Our salon is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment including a top of the range Hydrobath which really helps to stimulate the natural oils in your dog’s skin and coat and gives your pooch a nice deep clean! This leaves your dog feeling healthier and allows their skin to breathe, which in turns leaves them feeling much happier and content.
The full groom is essential for many thick coated breeds as without these their coats could start to matt which is very bad for their skin and can cause a variety of dangerous problems including circulation issues. It is also extremely uncomfortable for your dog and can be painful if matted. Should bad matting occur our only option may be to shave off the coat close to the skin for the dog to be comfortable again. This allows the skin to breathe and with a fresh start helps a new coat to grow. We try to avoid this at all costs which is why we recommend regular grooming appointments for most breeds as this will help prevent this.

Firstly, we start off with a soothing shower in our state-of-the-art Hydrobath with our premium shampoos and conditioners. Once the bath is done, we then spend some time giving each pooch a nice warm blow dry (and plenty of cuddles!). Every dog is dried by hand and will never be left unattended (We don’t use any drying cabinets and we work 1-2-1 with every dog). We will then trim your dog’s nails and complete your dog’s full haircut! 😊
Once your pooch’s hair is looking on point, we will then finish their luxury groom with a finishing spray, a spritz of our special Arnie’s perfume and make them picture pawfect with one of our cute bandanas!

Nagayu Skin Replenishing Treatment - £10.00
This is a specialist CO2 spa bathing treatment that is perfect for dogs with sore, dry or irritable skin. It increases blood flow that allows cells to absorb more nutrients and oxygen for the process of skin regeneration.
Furminating De-Shed Treatment - £10.00
Adding this treatment will remove up to 50% more hair than the standard brush out offered. This is a great treatment for larger, heavier coated dogs. Price shown is for 15 minutes.
Blueberry Facial Tear Stain Prevention - £7.50
Includes: Calming Head/Face Massage, Tear Stain Removal Treatment, Brightening Moisturiser.
Pawdicure - £6 or £12
Includes: Full Feet & Pad Tidy, Nail Clip & File, Paw Balm Massage. £6 when added to any Bath & Blow Dry or Groom, or £12 as a stand alone treatment.
Essential Maintenance
If you’re not after a bath and blow dry or a full groom but your best friend needs some essential maintenance to keep them comfortable we can offer the following simple treatments while you wait!
Nail Clipping - £10.00
Ear Cleanse - £7.50
PLEASE NOTE: A surcharge may be applied for severely matted hair post groom.
CANCELLED OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS: Appointments can be cancelled or moved up to 24hrs before the appointment time booked. After that a £15 cancellation fee will be charged. If you fail to turn up to an appointment you will be charged the full groom price booked.
